Organizational Management and Philanthropic Advising
“Supporting Strategic, Effective and Rewarding Giving ”
What is Philanthropy Advising?
In a time when there is a national and local focus on philanthropy, as well as a trend of people “living while giving,” donors want the satisfaction of knowing that their contribution is making a difference. However, they are often daunted by the prospect of navigating their way through the complex maze of issues and non-profits and do not have the resources to determine which organizations are effective and efficient, which strategies have been proved effective at impacting a problem, and how they can best leverage their resources with other efforts.
For people who have accumulated wealth, they are dismayed to learn that 60% of that wealth will be gone by the end of the second generation and 90% by the end of the third generation. They want to have the tools to learn how they can transfer their wealth in a way that also transfers their values so that the wealth can be preserved.
Philanthropy advising is an emerging field that has been established successfully on the East Coast of the United States and in more traditionally philanthropic communities. Philanthropy advisors provide donors with the tools they need to carry out their philanthropic goals and create opportunities to successfully transfer wealth.
How we do this?

Through the cumulative knowledge and experience of its founders, KWPM provides an array of services. These services can be provided as a one-time service or as part of an on-going association. All our services are confidential and customized to the unique needs of the client with the goal that they have a strategic and rewarding philanthropic experience.
